LA answers

Crap. I forgot there is another assignment. Out of my three top intelligences, I choosing naturalistic and intrapersonal because...... well you guessed it. Because they are much easier than linguistic. Haha.

So now, time for the serious work.

Naturalist: a. Do a research on the natural habitat of mockingbird. In your research, include the kind of flora and fauna you think exist in Maycomb and explain why the mockingbirds live in Maycomb.

Mockingbirds like open areas rather than dense woodlands. They can be found in suburban yards, orchards, parks. I think flowers like orchids and daises existed in Maycomb as mockingbirds were attracted to bright and colourful flowers. I think that another reason that mockingbirds live in Maycomb is that Maycomb had mowed lawns and ornamental shrubs that offer them insects and berries they love to eat. I also think that mockingbirds lived in Maycomb as the people in Maycomb were taught not to attack mockingbird as it is a sin and mockingbirds can recognise a person that attacked it and will attack the person.

Intrapersonal [pick one]: a. Who would you want to be friends with in the novel? Explain. b. Which character would you like to play in the movie version of the novel? Explain. c. Write a diary entry for a major character of the novel. Please post your work on your blog. If it can’t be done (eg: you want to draw the poster out manually), please submit your work on Wednesday.

a. In the novel, I would want to make friends with Tom Robinson. I would like to find out how black people were discriminated by the white people firsthand as I feel very intrigued by how they were discriminated and I want the truth to come to light.
